Women’s Day Celebration Worldwide

Women’s Day is a global initiative to uphold women’s rights. The day commemorates women’s struggle for equality, liberty and justice over the years. It is a great honor to acknowledge their community’s past, present & future endeavor at homes, as well as at different workplaces.
It was first celebrated on 19th of March, 1911 in numerous countries like Switzerland, Germany, Austria, & Denmark. Having roots in the New York’s massive labor movement for getting right pay and good working condition, its celebrated annually to uplift and empower women with their rights to get trained, to work & vote.
Latest reports reveal that several programs are being organized in different parts of the world to honor economic, political as well as social achievements of women. As this 8th of March the celebration completes 100 years, people are busy organizing various events related to women upliftment. Around 25 countries, including Russia, Zambia, Vietnam, Ukraine, and Afghanistan are observing official holiday on this specific day.
Annie Lennox who is a famous social activist and performer is about to lead a large procession across Millennium Bridge in London for charity. In addition, thousands of people are gonna descend on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. demanding a better world for numerous deprived girls and women all across the globe.
Moreover, a major International Business Women’s Conference is going to be hosted in the capital of Australia, Sydney. Numerous governments and schools around the globe are participating to acknowledge this spectacular day. Several campaigns will be there by different charities & trade unions. It is also heard that various big firms will host conferences where they are gonna distribute extensive packs on resource. In the U.S, the president designates the whole month (March) as Women’s History Month.
Hence it is way to encourage them to work outside home. So this women’s day wish female members of your family, office and neighborhood.
